Pixy is our very rare Red point female produced in our breeding program by our Candy and retired Red point male Hermes. She is litter sisters to our Phoenix but is a bit more classic in standard.
Pixy is a beautiful queen with elegant slim body and her beautiful full plume tail that looks like a flamethrower with long orange red color streaks. She has a sweet natured and gentle personality which comes from her mother Candy, but much more vocal than her mother which she gets from her grandmother Ava.
It took us a while to produce Pixy in our goal and work of producing outcrossed long haired Balinese Red point breeding lines. One of our breeding program's goal was to introduce new, unrelated breeding lines in order to improve and produce Red point Balinese cats in the Old-Style standard.
For this reason Pixy is a rarity due to needing a Red point male and a Red or Tortie female in order to produce a Red point female and the extent that it takes to work with these rare and beautiful Red points for outcrossing. This is why not all breeders work and are able to produce Red point in both genders.
Our goal for Pixy is to continue her breeding lines and produce more Old-Style Red point Balinese for future generations.
