Bliss is a very gentle and lovely Blue point Balinese female that comes all the way from our mentor in Michigan.
Through a colloaboration between Laura Bell and MyBaliSi breeding programs, we were granted the opportunity to acquire Bliss. We didn’t think it would be possible to acquire her very old breeding lines as she was recovered from a retired Balinese breeder that kept these breeding lines very secured from other breeders and breeding programs. She comes from very old, and traditional Balinese lines not commonly and easily found in the United States as she was kept .
Blue point Balinese cats were one of the initial colors in the breed standard, and at this time not very much common in some breeding programs. It has always been our goal to acquire and/or produce a blue point female as this color point has been a bit hard to produce in our breeding program.
Our goal is to produce blue point kittens from Bliss as well as produce outcrosses with her as she is a completely outcrossed line from ours.

Update: Bliss is no longer a breeding female at this time. Being that Bliss had some pregnancy problems and later was not able to conceive, we found it best for her to become retired from our breeding program and has gone to a loving home. We miss her much, but her full sister Sweet Pea will continue her special and well kept breeding lines.
